Special Services

BAPTISMS: The gift of a child is wonderful and is a cause for great celebration. Many families want to do this by having a church service, so that they may give thanks to God, as well as celebrate the event afterwards with family and friends. The Church of England offers you two ways in which you can do this. It is important that you consider both services carefully so that you understand the meaning of each of them, and choose the service which best reflects what it is that you want to express before God, the Church and your own family and friends. WEDDINGS:
Many couples want to make their marriage vows to each other in the sight of God, ask for God' s blessing on their marriage, and be held in prayer by their family and friends as they make this life changing commitment to each other. Any one of our three churches, because they are so beautiful, is a stunning setting for this special ceremony. Read more.

FUNERALS: The time surrounding the death of a loved one is always a difficult one, and the local vicar is there to help to support you through this time and help you plan the funeral so that it is a very personal event, whether or not you have any association with the church.

and please see our Churchyard Policy. Important: please note that no burials can take place in our churchyard. However, we do have a beautiful cemetary a few yards away. In addition, Saunderton and Horsenden churches are still open for local burials and interment of ashes.
